A better whistleblowing law: openDemocracy reports on the Protection for Whistleblowing Bill

openDemocracy, an independent media platform which challenges power, inspires change and builds leadership, reported on the progress of the Protection for Whistleblowing Bill this week having been inspired by our work on the larger event of Whistleblowing Awareness Week 2023.

Speaking to openDemocracy our CEO, Georgina Halford-Hall explained “Whistleblowers are vital elements of a transparent society. They are the people on the ground who are prepared to take action to stop wrongdoing or provide information that helps those who have statutory power to do something.”
